Capita linguist sabotages a court hearing, leaves court for his 'real job'
I have recently met a Chinese hotel receptionist working for Capita at the Immigration & Asylum Chamber (Taylor House). At 10.30 AM he demanded that his case was heard as his reception shift at a West End hotel was to start at 12 PM. He warned that if he wasn't called by 11 AM, he would cancel the assignment altogether.
Although the case was called on before 11 AM (at 10.45 AM), it was adjourned for lunch, and at 1 PM the linguist left fuming that he was late for his "real job" and that he wouldn't be coming back.
Not too long ago this would've been unthinkable, now it's an everyday reality thanks to Capita and the MoJ.
