Court makes a list of interpreters to use bypassing Capita TI
A listings officer from a magistrates' court rang me last month asking about my position regarding working directly for them. It was an out of the blue phone call as I did only a few jobs for them before Capita. Anyway, he admitted they were struggling to have any Capita interpreters and now want to have a list of direct contacts they could use.
The officer also said that at this moment in time he managed to have up to three NRPSI interpreters from each language agreeing to do direct jobs. I told him about my position and also mentioned the fact that financially we all struggled. He was understanding and wished us good luck.
My feeling is something is coming to an end but what... We will find out soon.
